SAV Sign Unveiling
On Tuesday, April 14th family, friends, and supporters gathered to dedicate a sign announcing the “Future Home of St. Andrew’s Village.” The sign was generously donated by Steve and Donna St. Cyr of Vivid Ink in Baton Rouge.
We were blessed with a beautiful day and were joined by about 50 people, stopping traffic right there on Highway 36! Supporters present included SAV Board Chair Gary Solomon, President Jay Zainey and several other Board members. Local notables included Mayor Louis Fitzmorris and Pat Brister.
The most honored guests included numerous young adults with developmental disabilities who look forward to making a home at St. Andrew’s Village. Many photographs were taken and guests were also treated to a small reception in the City Hall building after the sign dedication. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day.
