We are proud to announce that St. Andrew's Village raised over $80,000 at our 1st Annual Golf Tournament. The English Turn golf course was a fabulous setting for the 150 golfers who competed.
Throughout the course, local food and beverage stars kept the players going with their specialties: Acme shucked raw oysters, Zea's Rotisserie served ribs, Wing Zone provided wings, Chef Blake (a young adult with special needs) served chicken parmesan, Cuisine Louisiane cooked up alligator sauce piquant, and Walker Haase (a young adult with special needs) made Abita Root Beer floats. Abita Beer treated every golfer to a case of beer at registration and Bruno's mixed up bloody marys and screwdrivers. All the winners were given gift certificates to the English Turn pro-shop, all participants were given spectacular ditty bags that included a Grill Daddy donated by Michael Wales, and New Orleans Seafood and Hamburger Co. treated participants to fried catfish for lunch. The spectacular silent auction and awards party rounded out the day with crawfish from Mr. Mudbug's and gumbo and jambalaya from Redfish Grill. Thank you to all the businesses who graciously donated food and drinks for the tournament.
