A SAVvy Affair 2010
The second annual "A SAVvy Affair," hosted by the Young Friends of St. Andrew's Village, was a resounding success.
The event was held November 19th at Republic New Orleans in the Warehouse District. More than 350 people came out to support St. Andrew's Village with music by Harvey Jesus and Fire, a great selection of drinks, and some of New Orleans' finest foods. Participating restaurants included Cafe Bon Ton, Byblos, Acme Oyster House, Jacques-Imo's Cafe, and Cafe Adelaide, to name a few.
An incredible silent auction - featuring a vintage sterling silver necklace by Tiffany and Co., several signed New Orleans Saints memorabilia items, a Max Ryan painting, 2 round trip tickets to anywhere Air Tran flies, diamond and pearl earrings, and more - helped raise over $50,000 for SAV.
