This Friday, friends and family of St. Andrew's Village gathered at The Chimes in Covington for a wonderful evening leading up to the drawing of our Football Frenzy Raffle winner. The Raffle was a huge success, and we couldn't have done it without Judge Terry Alarcon, Mark Romig, and Mike Valentino, whose generous donations made the raffle possible.

Many thanks to owner Tim Hood and manager Trent Graves who welcomed the more than 100 SAV supporters who came out to The Chimes. St. Tammany Parish President Pat Brister, Abita Springs Mayor Louis Fitzmorris, State Representative Scott Simon, and US Senator Mary Landrieu's Smart Growth Coordinator Jeanne-Marie Ganucheau all served as celebrity bartenders. The happy hour specials were great, and the chef brought out some samples of the items that will be on The Chimes' New Year's Eve menu.

The Lake 94.7 did a live remote of the event, thanks to Northshore Broadcasting owner Charles Dowdy. Rick Clasen hosted the broadcast, and we went live every 15 minutes from 4pm to 6pm. Many of our parents and board members were interviewed about SAV and the Raffle, and we even had some calls for last-minute ticket purchases!

The excitement built up to our big pull at 6pm when we picked our winners. The Chimes donated two tickets to their big New Year's Eve party - David Simon won that exciting prize.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Raffle! See photos from the event here.
